Here’s what’s blooming in our gardens on the 15th of May:
Bloom Day – October 2014
It’s already here. The 15th of the month. And that means it’s Bloom Day, a day to show off the beauties in our flower gardens. It is raining like crazy this morning, and will probably not let up ’til May. But, I did manage to get a few pics the other day before the flowers got soggy.

September’s upon us and the colors in my flowerbeds are starting to fade. I’m going to guess this isn’t the best my gardens have looked this time of year. The weather has been warmer than usual, I haven’t been watering much & I haven’t kept up on the weeding or deadheading as I should be. So, the flowerbeds are dry, full of spent blooms &

For the most part, the flowerbeds are now past their prime. There are more dead or dying flowers than fresh, colorful blooms – which, is always a bummer. Although, the day lily in this title image is looking great. It is Daylily “Night Beacon.’

Spring is here & our gardens are getting some much needed color thanks mostly to bulbs in bloom.

Mid August is slightly past our garden’s prime. Most flowerbeds still have plenty of color, but many blooms are fading.
