Doh! The big day. A Disney Half Marathon. And, not only that is was the second race of the Rebel Challenge. Saturday was the first race of the Star Wars Rebel Challenge at Disneyland. It was a 10K, which at this point, is my favorite distance. It’s more challenging than a 5K. But not near as challenging as a half marathon. I still feel fairly new to running. I’ve actually not run many 10K’s and the next day would only be my 3rd half marathon. So,

Last October we took a road trip. One of the places we visited was the California Academy of Sciences. There were many great exhibits, but my sole purpose for going there was to see their rainforest dome. It did not disappoint. It was really quite awesome. Inside the rainforest birds flew around freely.
