The other day I took the kids to a park that we had never been to. We explored the park for about an hour, mostly walking around the pond. The walk was nice. My boys especially enjoyed it. But, I only saw a handful of birds & don’t get to add new ones to my list. 🙁 We did see many dragonflies & damselflies, though. The real thrill of the day was seeing turtles. We never see turtles at our typical bird-watching spots.
