From Idaho we headed into Wyoming and stopped at many stunning places across the state.
GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK
After our cave excursions at Craters of the Moon we drove about 5 hours to our campground near Jackson Hole.
The brown blob towards the middle of the right photo is a moose in the campground.
The next day was spent at Grand Teton National Park and heading to Yellowstone.
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
Steam vent and hot springs at Yellowstone.
DRIVING TO CODY
After Yellowstone we drove Route 14 to Cody. The scenery was amazing.
The townsite of Cody was founded by William Frederick Cody, aka Buffalo Bill.
We attended a rodeo in the self proclaimed Rodeo Capital of the World.
We stayed at a KOA. I was so happy to sleep in a little cabin, as opposed to our usual tent.
DRIVING TO BUFFALO
We saw more of Wyoming’s beauty driving from Cody to Buffalo.
For a quick stop in Buffalo, we rode the Cowboy Carousel and played mini golf.
DEVILS TOWER NATIONAL MONUMENT
Our final destination in the state of Wyoming was Devils Tower.
