A couple years ago I put together a photo booth for our Christmas Eve celebration. It was time to do it again. They are just plain fun. They can be as elaborate as you want, but this year I was going for simple.
The idea behind this backdrop was simply that my kids cut snowflakes and we needed a place to hang them.
On one wall in our great room I have a piece of cork painted & hung for the kids art. This was the perfect spot to convert into a photo booth.
To hang the snowflakes I first taped a few on a string. Then, I taped the strings of snowflakes to the ceiling.
That’s it. I didn’t have to buy a thing & it didn’t take long to put together.
Now you just have to convince people to take a pic at the photo booth.
The props vary, but were all made from things I already had. The Santa hats were in my Christmas stash, the glasses & moustaches I made from craft foam the last time I put a photo booth together & the snowman hat was repurposed from this Halloween’s Mad Hatter costume.
Happy Winter Days!
